Agren from Palserod

Karl Fredrik Johanson Agren, born 1858, Oct 4 on Rorane. He left Sweden the first time in 1881. He is traveling from Oslo on the ship Rollo with destination, Chicago, Illinois.
Wilhelmina Hanson, born 1853, March 26 from West Elgeland, who was going to be Karl Fredriks wife, left Bullaren 1882, June 30 with destination Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The couple was married in Ashwaubenon, in Brown county Wisconsin in 1883. Two of their four children Herman and Victoria, were born in the US. Wilhelmina returns to Bullaren together with her brother Jarl Alfred in August 1887, and Karl Fredrik joined them in 1888. Karl Fredrik returns to the US one more time in April 1897, and comes back in the fall 1900. The couple settled on Palserod and the two youngest children, Ernst and Gunnar, are born on that farm.
All of their children emigrate between 1903-1912, except for Herman. Records show he is going to Colorado and their destination is Canada. Herman joins them later in Canada.

Karl Fredrik and Wilhelmina with their four children, Herman, Victoria, Ernst and Gunnar. Victoria married Karl Theg from Nedre Buane, another emigrant from Bullaren

Herman and his wife Justina.
She also came from Bullaren.

Ernst Karlsson Agren with his wife Mabel.

All of the Agren boys were working on Sandgreens farm. Ernst married Mabel Sandgren, daughter of the owner. Ernst died young from appendicitis. Today the farm is run by his ancestors and the main production is meat. The farm is situated in Pincher Creek, south of Calgary, in Canada.
The man who is handling the horses is Gunnar Agren. The machine was used when building railroads. Gunnar is the only one that returned to Sweden.

The older couple is Carl Theg and Victoria Agren, with their ten children.
The pictures and information we received came from Karin Brusk,
daughter of Gunnar Agren, and Tore Agren.
